Our manifesto describes the improvements we seek in family policy and services. We are lobbying for improved universal services for parents, an increase in services that offer couple and relationship support and steps to reduce the pressure of commercialization on families. We want junk food ads to be banned; we would like companies to limit their marketing to children and Government to ban marketing to children under seven.
In addition to our own campaigns, the Family and Parenting Institute is happy to support the following campaigns
- Family Reading Campaign
- The Children's Food Campaign
- Every Child, Every School Coalition
- Make Child Benefit Count
- End Child Poverty
- Every Disabled Child Matters (EDCM) is the campaign to get rights and justice for every disabled child.
- Children's Rights Alliance for England campaign for children's voices to be heard by the DoH Local Involvement Networks
- Which?: Junk Food Advertising
- Participation National Advisory Group (PNAG) on children and young people
