Monday 19 - Sunday 25 October 2009

Parents' Week 2009 saw over 300 events running across the UK, celebrating the work of family and parenting services and listening to parents and families.

We launched the Week in Birmingham, with the help of families from across the city who came together at the Think Tank museum to tell us what makes a Family Friendly service. Earlier that day, Birmingham City Council held an event to launch their Brighter Futures pilot programmes following the launch of the strategy last year.
