How do you know what you do works? A short guide to measuring outcomes and effectiveness in family and parenting work.
Honor Rhodes
]
A short and accessible guide to help practitioners chose the right measuring tools for the job. Workers need to know how effective their interventions with families and parents are, what they need to change and what to do more of. The guide will help family and parenting workers develop their practice in using such tools, helping families understand why we need to ask occasionally painful questions and managing our own anxiety as workers; all to ensure that families get the best help that they can.
Honor Rhodes is Director of Development at the Family and Parenting Institute with many years of experience in direct work with families and management in both the statutory and voluntary sector, she currently works on a series of projects advising local authorities on commissioning services and development programmes.
Registration for the free guides has now finished. The guides will be sent out during the first week of November.
