Charitable Trusts and Foundations

The support of trusts and foundations has been vital to FPI in building a credible evidence base to champion families and play a pivotal role in leading the family sector. With this invaluable support we are able to work for a family friendly society which recognises the whole family, values families in all their diversity, and promotes conditions which enable families to thrive.

FPI is developing and delivering a range of projects that offer opportunities to work in partnership with trusts and foundations. Our project work includes campaigns, advocacy and research, as well as the strategic engagement of policy makers to build a more Family Friendly society.

Our current activities and plans include:

All trusts and foundations supporting our work are kept up to date with progress and provide a comprehensive overview of how this support can help families across the UK.

We provide:

  • regular reports on the progress of a project and our work in general
  • a comprehensive evaluation at the end of a grant to illustrate how funding has made a difference to UK families and parents
  • opportunities to meet and talk with project staff
  • acknowledgements in our Annual Review, annual accounts and in supporter publications
