In November 2010 The National Family and Parenting Institute was delighted to be awarded a grant of £15,000 by the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation. The grant was awarded to cover work from 1st April 2011 – 31st March 2012, to research and develop an effective method for evaluating how a voluntary organisation maximises the voice of its constituents and beneficiaries to influence and change public policy.

In 2009 the Joseph Rowntree Foundation provided funding for us to carry out the study “Assessments of parenting and parenting need support: a study of four professional groups.” This report explores how a range of health, education and family practitioners made their assessments – formal and informal – of parenting and parenting support needs. The report can be viewed here.
